Yes I am still alive, I'm just rather preoccupied by other faucets of my life at the moment. ;)
But when Clare tagged me for this award, just to see if I was still active, I figured it would be good to at least put up this post after so long.

Right, ok, 11 facts.

#1 I'm a graduate of 12 years of homeschooling.
#2 I'm in the Waratah Girls Choir, which is honestly the most incredible community I've ever been part of!
#3 I had Vegemite on toast for breakfast.
#4 I am currently still in my pyjamas.
#5 I don't like liquorice.
#6 I'm currently active in two separate RolePlays.
#7 I have more unfinished stories (in my head and on paper) than I can count.
#8 The first time a galloped (as in on an equine ) I was actually only on a 12.2hh pony.
#9 I just had to get up and hold a sifter over a bowl for mum. ( she's cooking ;) )
#10 I. LOVE. MUSIC.
#11 I am currently reading "This Present Darkness" by Frank. E. Peretti.

#1Do you often dream when you sleep?
Yep, all the time. I love to dream. ( most of the time ;) )

#2What is the scariest dream you have ever had?
Being one who dreams often I've had my fair share of scares, but I haven't really had a dream that has truly frightened me for quite some time, and I can't recall my scariest.

#3What is one of your dreams for yourself for the future?
That whatever career path I may find myself on, I will be doing something that I enjoy.

#4What is one for your dreams for the world?
Hmm....well I suppose one of them would be that everyone would be able to treat each other with the same love and respect they show to themselves.

#5How many tags/awards have you done?
Haha, lost count.

#6What is a question you want to answer?
What is your favourite day of the week?

#7Can you answer it for me now?
Ok, it's close but I think I'd have to say Monday.

#8What is your favourite dreamy/relaxing music or soundtrack?
Oooh........good question. I don't have a favourite, but some of the music by BrunuhVille is very pleasant to listen to.

#9What is infinity times eleven?
Infinity x 11 = Infinity x 11

#10What is a dream of yours that had been fulfilled?
I galloped on a horse ( well, pony but yeah XD )

#11What place have you been where the scenery seems to go on for an infinite distance?
Most beaches at sunset/sunrise, where the water seems to go on forever.

Jaspur

Most of you will probably remember my dear cat Jaspur.

Well, he has gone missing. It's very unusual for him to wander and he's not extremely old ( nearly 7 ). We can only assume that ( considering where we live ) he was taken by a fox or wild dog. :'(

I will miss my little raga-muffin very much. He was such a funny, strange cat and he will be sorely 

missed. :(

A Tag, for the Sisterhood?

Ok, so I've been tagged by Clare to join the Sisterhood Of The World Bloggers Award. There are no real rules for this tag so I'm not going to nominate anyone, instead I'm just going to answer the given questions. So, here we go.

1.What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?
    A weird piece of toast my dad made for me. I actually did a post about it. My Attempt and a Weird Snack

2.Would you rather visit any fantasy realm you wish and die on a desert island, in a battle or stuck up a tree; or would you prefer to live a long long life here on earth?
   Um, that's a tough one. I mean I'd love to visit a fantasy realm, especially one of mine, but I wouldn't mind living a long life. So I don't know. I guess it would depend on how long I get to visit the fantasy realm for.

3.If you had to be locked in a small room for one day with one other blogger who would that be? (the room is completely bare except for one light in the roof )
   It would have to be either Lecheria Criada or Sararose because there's no way I could be bored with either of them around!

4.What is the biggest number of words you have written in one day.
    I have absolutely no idea!

5.Do you write stories? If so what is the hardest thing about writing them?
    Well, if by write you mean create then yes I do write stories, many stories. My problem is that I find it very difficult to get what's in my head down on paper.

6.What is your opinion on popping candy?
    Fizzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

7.How many blogger awards are there in the world?
  Pfft, I dunno. Ask Google, he's your friend! XD


8.How many awards (to do with bogs) have you been awarded, and how many have you not done of those awarded?
    I think I've been awarded around six or eight. And as far as I know I've done all of them.

9.What is the coolest bruise you have ever got? and which colour bruise do you prefer?
    Um, I can't remember, I've had to many bruises. If I'm choosing between yellow and purple, I'd go purple. I guess.

10.What languages do you know, pretend to know, have attempted to know, wish you knew? 
  I know a couple of languages of my own creation, I've never pretended to know any, I have learnt a tiny bit of Spanish, Japanese and Native American, and I wish I knew Spanish or Japanese.

A Short Poem

This is a short poem I wrote last night.


Tears

Why do we conceal them,
When we know they hold no shame?
We lock them up inside ourselves,
And choose to bear the pain.

The growing silence beckons,
And feeds our hidden fears.
Oh, how the burden would be lifted,
If we'd only shed our tears.

The Wasteland Tag

Hmmm, ok, so I've been tagged by Clare . This is a tag that she semi-created, so this will be interesting.
I can either apply it to summer or winter, since it's summer at the moment and I haven't experienced snow before, I think I'll go with summer.
So here are the basic rules.

List 5-15 things that you can do in the summer/winter when you are bored.
Tag 5-10 other bloggers.

So let's get started.

I love summer, it's full of terrific memories, but sometimes the heat can just be a little too intense. These are the times when I can get bored. So here are some of the things I would do to keep myself occupied.
#1 Read a book. Why not? It's a great way to pass the time.
#2 Draw. Practicing my drawing skills is always a good thing.
#3 Write. Trying to cover some ground when it comes to finishing my stories, I really should do this more often.
#4 Make something. Get crafty and creative! With Christmas just around the corner, you could make decorations or presents!
#5 Cook something. I'm sure your family would appreciate some dessert.
#6 Take some photos. If you have hobbies that involve photography like I do, then go ahead and take some sweet pics!
#7 Take a nap.
#8 Tidy something. Is your room overdue for a dusting? Let's get to work.
#9 Listen to music. 'Cause everyone loves a good tune!
#10 Watch a movie. I especially like to get out old family videos and reminisce about old times.
#11 If you have many hobbies like I do, then go do them!
